The North Shore City presentation will emphasise the crucial role of knowledge development and management, particularly around research, science and technology, as a means to foster innovation.
Massey University's Albany principal, Ian Watson, will be the guest speaker, with presentations by John Gardiner, deputy chief executive of the Institution of Professional Engineers, and Alasdair Thompson, chief executive of the Employers and Manufacturers Association (Northern), on behalf of Business New Zealand. The MC will be Terry Hoskins, Enterprise North Shore general manager.
The roadshow is a free discussion session, from noon to 2pm, at Massey University, Room 81 in the Atrium Building, via Gate One, State Highway 17, Albany.
