Nelson-based McCashin's Brewery - which makes the Stoke beer range - came in third with 1836 per cent growth.
Companies in the 2012 index grew New Zealand's economy by $637 million over the last three years and created 1376 jobs, Deloitte said.
Companies had to achieve growth of 154 per cent to make this year's index and at least growth of 480 per cent to make the top 10.
Pulse Ultilities also took out the award for fastest growing retail or consumer products business, while McCashin's won the prize for the country's fastest growing manufacturer.
