AUT Park blooms as start-ups roll in

AUT Technology Park celebrated its growth with an open day this week.

The park acts as an incubator for innovative small and medium-sized companies and is home to 29 start-ups, commercial businesses and university projects.

The latest arrivals include Club IT (services for IT professionals), New River (new video technologies for marketing research) and Urban Voyage (3D visualisation solutions).

Incubated businesses receive mentoring and help with financial and businesses planning.

Start-up businesses may also receive financial support, on a case-by-case basis, in the form of services and facilities provided free of charge.

Commercial businesses use the park's services and administrative support as well as taking advantage of corporate office space and competitive group purchasing.
