Sale of finance business PRG close

Eric Watson's Pacific Retail Group hopes to conclude the sale of its finance business within two weeks.


Chairman Jock Irvine said the company was continuing to talk to its preferred bidder. "I'm hoping that something will be able to be announced publicly in the next week or two," Irvine said.


"Given that we've been saying that since the AGM, that could prove to be speculative but I'd like to think we can do that."
