Telecom Mobile has been planted at Aotea Square for the past few days as it promotes its mobile Jetstream business capabilities.
The so-called roaming billboard, which imitates a business desk and was set up via crane on Monday, is to remind people they can work anywhere they want, with presentations
given to those who inquire.
Business was brisk on Monday, said Telecom's Gita Parsot, but things looked pretty quiet when the Herald wandered past.
But boredom, at least, can be kept at bay by surfing the net.
The office set-up will be move to several locations around Auckland.
Telecom Mobile will join Fly Buys next month as part of what it calls an "aggressive push into the consumer market".
Telecom Mobile's move follows a similar move by its parent, Telecom, which replaced its Talking Points programme with Fly Buys this year.
