Ports of Auckland says it's frustrated by today's fruitless six-hour mediation session with the Maritime Union.
The two parties met for a fourth time today as they work to resolve their ongoing dispute.
Ports CEO Tony Gibson said the union seemed to still be failing to grasp the need for
fundamental change.
The parties remain miles apart, he said.
"Unfortunately our take away from it is that the Maritime Union has not responded to our sense of urgency for change."
