Private technology company Phitek has created a strategic partnership with Renesas Technology of Japan, a joint venture between Hitachi and Mitsubishi Semiconductors.
Phitek chief executive Mark Donaldson said the deal was part of the company's long-term strategy to push all of its electronic platforms on to a chip format.
