Trading halt on NZ Finance Holdings

A trading halt has been placed on the shares of mortgage broking and finance company New Zealand Finance (NZF) Holdings Ltd .

The NZ stock exchange said the halt was placed on NZF's shares today at the company's request.

The halt would be lifted after an announcement by NZF to the market, expected before 3pm.

Shares in the company closed at $1.21 on Friday, having traded between 90c and $1.52 in the past year.
