No further action on Allied Domecq buy

The Commerce Commission has closed its investigation into the acquisition of the New Zealand operations of Allied Domecq by Pernod Ricard.

It is of the view that the acquisition is unlikely to have resulted in a substantial lessening of competition in any market.
