Food prices in New Zealand fell by 0.4 per cent for the second month running last month.
Statistics New Zealand today released the Food Price Index (FPI) for April showing food prices were down 0.4 per cent. That follows a 0.4 per cent fall in the FPI in March.
April's drop in the FPI leaves it 0.7 per cent lower than at the same time last year.
