1. House sales National figures are due to be released by the Real Estate Institute for May. Those will show the volumes of salesas well as median prices throughout New Zealand. With runaway prices in many areas, this data is of interest to a wide segment of the business community, the Government, Reserve Bank and Treasury.
2. Awards The Prime Minister's Excellence Awards will be announced today at the Auckland War Memorial Museum.
3. Negotiation Today sees the opening of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership negotiation round at the SkyCity Convention Centre in Auckland.
4. Summit The India NZ Business Council Summit is being held at the Langham Auckland.
5. TruScreen Earnings are due today from TruScreen which specialises in the research, development and commercialisation of electro-light technologies for the identification of cancerous tissue, including the screening and treatment of cervical cancer, and is currently exported to Asia, Europe and Latin America. The technology also has the potential of being used to identify other cancers, that business says.
