The case against an Auckland woman accused of defrauding millions of dollars from investors will go to trial in the Auckland District Court next year.
The Serious Fraud Office last year charged Mike and Jacqui Bradley with 87 offences under the Crimes Act following the collapse of the couple's financial advisory business, B'On Financial Services Ltd in 2009.
The couple were accused of fleecing more investors of nearly $15 million.
The investors have been told it is unlikely there will be any payout.
Judge Ann Kiernan this morning set down a five-week trial date beginning in August next year.
The Serious Fraud Office alleges the Bradleys operated a ponzi-type scheme where the company took investors' money to repay earlier investors and to fund their lifestyle.
Mike Bradley died in April this year, just weeks before the case was due in court.
His widow made a brief appearance in court this morning where her lawyer requested extra time to file his memorandum and advise the court of any pre-trial issues.
The case is due back in court in December. Bradley has not yet entered a plea.
