New-car registrations rose 27 per cent in June compared with the previous month to 7713, the Land Transport Safety Authority said yesterday.
Used-car registrations _ generally imported used cars _ totalled 12,891 last month, down 3 per cent on May.
Compared with June 2004, new-car registrations were up 8 per
cent and used-car registrations fell 2 per cent.
New commercial vehicle registrations during the month were 2629, up 13 per cent on a month earlier, and up 3 per cent on June 2004.
