Barton chairs Tower

Insurer and fund manager Tower said board member Keith Barton will replace Olaf O'Duill as chairman and director of Tower and its finance arm. O'Duill announced his retirement in April, effective from the end of last month.

Tower's share price has been steadily rising on talk that it may be ripe for takeover or splitting of its Australian business.
