Kiwi drops from high

The New Zealand dollar drifted slightly lower against the greenback yesterday after reaching its highest level in over a week at the weekend.

The kiwi was at US70.88c at 5pm yesterday, down from US71.08c at 8am and US71c on Friday.

It was at €0.5623 from €0.5597, A81.05c from A81.01c and 63.10 from 62.91. The trade weighted index was at 67.47 from 67.36 on Friday.
