"There's no doubt in my mind this can be a hugely successful company down the track. It is about execution and funding, which will take us to the next level," he said.
The company is raising capital through crowdfunding website Equitise, with the goal to raise $1 million to fund further growth.
Minimum investments are set to $500 with a share price of $4.
The 250,000 shares available to the public make up 20 per cent of company equity.
MY F.C. will remain supported by two key investors-CEO of Atlas Concrete Graham Collie and retired creator of McCollam Printers Limited Barry McCollam.
In February the creators of MY F.C. took home $15,000 after the app won BNZ's Start-up Alley competition.
"It was validation for the work we put in and it showed us that people understood what we were doing. To have other entrepreneurs pick us meant a lot," Jenkins said.
The app has already launched in 53 countries with 37,000 users.
Most of MY F.C.'s users are based in New Zealand, Australia and the United States, but Jenkins said the founders have their sights set on bigger international markets.
"New Zealand is great as a testing ground but we want to target the overseas areas like South America, Asia and Europe which all have a huge football following."
