Hirequip sales up, profit down

Listed hire company Hirequip has posted a net profit after tax of $7.5 million for the year to June 30, compared with $10.5 million for the same period last year. Total sales increased to $90.4 million from $86.7 million.

Consolidated Group ebitda was $28.2 million, in line with the profit guidance of $27 million to $29 million.

The company will pay a final fully imputed dividend of 2.5c per share.
