Guardian Trust to restructure fund

Guardian Trust is to restructure its $160 million CashPlus Fund to enable it to meet the criteria for the Government's deposit guarantee scheme.

The fund will be suspended for the next 35 days while it is split into a cash-only fund and a mortgage fund. At present 65 per cent of it is in cash investments with the remainder in mortgage investments.
