Genesis forges on

Biotechnology company Genesis Research and Development is expecting "milestone achievements" this year after a net loss for the year to December of $800,000.

The company's cash balance at the end of 2007 was $5.8 million, after a cash burn of $3.2 million during the year.

Genesis Research chief executive Stephen Hall said good progress was made with all research programmes last year.
