Air New Zealand's operating statistics rose in June from a year earlier, but most figures for the financial year are still down.
The airline yesterday said it carried 1 million passengers last month, and while that was lower than the 1.11 million passengers recorded in June 2009, it was up 7.8 per cent when adjusted for the number of days in the June accounting period this year and last year.
For the financial year the number of passengers carried was down 0.4 per cent to 12.32 million.
