Farmside speeds up broadband

Rural internet provider Farmside is boosting speeds over its satellite broadband service.

From July it will double speeds available to new and existing customers on all its broadband services.

The speed increase will take its entry-level $49.95 (excluding GST) a month service to 512 kilobits per second and its high-end $199.95 (excluding GST) a month to four megabits per second. It has 10,000 rural customers.
