Reward for ANZ clients

ANZ has developed a credit card with the more than 50 per cent of its customers who pay their balance in full each month in mind.

Instead of receiving reward points for retail purchases, customers with a new ANZ Everyday Rewards Visa receive points when they pay back money spent on the card.

One reward point is given for every dollar repaid. The points can be redeemed for merchandise, shopping vouchers or charity donations.

Managing director of ANZ Retail Banking Wayne Besant said research showed customers wanted to be rewarded for repaying money.
