Save The union representing bank workers says despite ANZ posting a bumper profit, little of that is being shared with staff.
The bank has made over a billion dollars with its returns up 25 per cent over the past financial year.
FIRST Union general secretary Robert Reid says with billion dollar
profits, ANZ should be investing in its staff.
"When they went to have wage discussions in the middle of this year, the bank only gave an offer of 3 per cent," he says.
Mr Reid says the profit announcement should cause the bank to reconsider its plans to wind down the National Bank side of the business.
