* Successful real estate industry professional Jo Clifford has been appointed Harcourts New Zealand chief operations officer (COO).

* Edwin Lim has joined Hudson Gavin Martin, a specialist technology and intellectual property law firm, as a senior associate. He recently returned to New Zealand after four years working at Clyde & Co in Dubai.
