Movers and shakers

* Financial Services Complaints Ltd (FSCL) has appointed Trevor Slater as general manager. Previously he ran the conciliation programme at the Office of the Banking Ombudsman .

* PR consultancy Pead PR has appointed three new staff: Candice Bowen has been appointed account director of consumer brands and fashion. Most recently she was an account manager at Euro RSCG Biss Lancaster in the UK; Esmée Dunlop is the new senior account manager in consumer electronics. She is back from London where she worked in a technology-focused PR agency; Parveen Chiba is the new food team account executive. Most recently Chiba spent time as an intern at a PR agency in India.

* Law firm Lowndes Associates has promoted James Nolen to the position of senior associate. He joined Lowndes Associates in April 2009.

* Retailworld Resourcing has appointed three new account managers. Rachel Wilmore will be focusing on executive roles in the fashion sector, Alex Smith for shop front roles in homeware & hardware and Gemma Travis will be recruiting for roles throughout the hospitality sector.
