39pc Blue collar labour hire company Allied Work Force said interim net profit fell 39 percent, partly due to bad weather and high investment costs.
The fall in profit after tax for the six months ended September 30, to $803,000, was signalled to the market in August.
Turnover rose 26 per cent to $42.8 million, but set-up expenditure, advertising and client servicing costs hit margins.
