Domino's Pizza Australia says its world-first 50 per cent reduced fat mozzarella cheese topping will help boost sales growth and consolidate the company's recent rapid expansion.
Australia's second-largest pizza chain said the innovation would slash the total fat content of a pizza by up to 35 per cent. It believed it would sell an estimated seven million pizzas with the new topping over the next 12 months.
Domino's, which has 258 stores in Australia and eight stores in New Zealand, plans to be operating 300 stores and 20 stores respectively in the two countries by the end of the next financial year.
