Dann's Business replacement appointed

TVNZ economics journalist Nadine Chalmers-Ross is the new host of TV1's Business programme.

She replaces Corin Dann, who last week was revealed as the new co-host of Breakfast, replacing Paul Henry.

Chalmers-Ross has been a business reporter at TVNZ since joining the state broadcaster in 2008, as well as a back-up presenter on Business. She has previously worked for Radio New Zealand National.

"Nadine is an outstanding talent, a respected journalist and broadcaster with an enviable knowledge of the business and economic challenges facing New Zealand. She's the obvious choice to take over from Corin Dann," says TVNZ's Head of News and Current Affairs, Anthony Flannery.

Business will return to TV1 at 6am on January 24th, 2011.
