Chorus chief called up

Telecom has seconded its Chorus chief executive Mark Ratcliffe to lead its bid to participate in ultra-fast broadband.

Telecom said Ratcliffe was temporarily standing down as Chorus chief executive to work full-time leading a team focused on ensuring Telecom's participation in the ultra fast broadband process.

Chorus chief financial officer Brian Hall will take up the CEO role in an acting capacity.
