Up to 50 jobs to go at The Warehouse

Forty to 50 jobs are to go at The Warehouse.

Chief executive Mark Powell says it's part of a long term strategy to simplify and improve the business.

He says the company is merging its Red Shed and Warehouse Stationary businesses.

"We've, as a result of that, announced that we will be restructuring and we're going through the consultation process around that but that restructuring unfortunately is likely to result in about 40 to 50 job losses in our offices."

Mr Powell says support staff will be laid off.
