Noel Leeming has come under fire after consumers realised the "price offer" on its iPad Pros were in fact the device's RRP.
On the electronic retailer's website the company promoted 9.7 inch iPad Pros as a "price offer" despite the price being the same as the recommended retail price.
Thesame price is being offered at similar retailers and on Apple's online site.

RRP prices for Apple product ranges have dropped by $50 for the 32GB 9.7inch wifi-only iPad Pro and $230 for the larget capacity 12.9 inch iPad Pro.

Commerce Commission spokesperson Christian Bonnevie told Fairfax Media that this technicality made the offer "legal under fair trading rules".
"They would need to prove that they were selling it at a higher price," he said.
Noel Leeming merchandise general manager Jason Bell said: "The $50 saving on the Apple 9.7 inch iPad Pro 32GB advertised on our website is based on Noel Leeming's previous advertised price."
