Sandley appointed to new role at APN

APN New Zealand, publisher of the Herald, has appointed Sarah Sandley to a new role of general manager, advertising sales and marketing, in its national publishing division.

Sandley, chief executive of APN's New Zealand Magazines for the past 18 months, will be responsible for advertising sales for the Herald, Herald on Sunday and the Aucklander.

Ken Steinke, APN's New Zealand chief executive, said Sandley had had outstanding success at the magazines division and would provide "a key focus and direction" across the company's wider brands.
