Company spokesman Brian Cadzow said he couldn't be specific about the amount of revenue the deal was worth but that it would be in the ballpark of $1-5 million.
He said the deal had more of a strategic, rather than material, value for Movio.
"It's a validation of the concept," Cadzow said.
Fox are the first major studio to sign an agreement with Movio which Cadzow described as a "positive step" for the business.
Cadzow said people had been unsure about whether Movio would be successful and today's announcement showed major studios were interested and committing to the technology.
Fox is one of the world's largest producers and distributors of movies, grossing US$4.4 billion ($6.1b) in global revenue last year.
