Ebos sells scientific units

Ebos Group says it will be debt-free after selling its portfolio of scientific businesses to VWR International of the United States for an undisclosed sum.

The medical equipment supplier said its full-year result to be released on August 26 will be in line with market expectations and will reflect another excellent trading year.

The scientific businesses included in the sale, which completes on September 1, are Global Science and Technology in New Zealand and Quantum Scientific and Crown Scientific in Australia.
