Gold hopeful offers shares

A new gold rush is beckoning with company Glass Earth launching a share offer that provides investors hopes of a glittering prize.

The company, which wants to discover gold deposits using leading-edge technology and then develop them, is offering 40 million shares at 25c each. It has exploration and prospecting permits in the Hauraki area, central North Island and Otago.

The company, listed in Toronto, has applied for listing on the NZX Alternative Market. It will have nearly 130 million shares on issue.
