"PrimeQ's installation of a state-of-the-art transport management system will use the power of data to track the transportation of letters and parcels at every step of their journey and improve planning of bulk pick-ups and deliveries," McAdams said.
"PrimeQ is also consolidating and upgrading New Zealand Post's warehouse management system to better service e-commerce businesses seeking to outsource their warehousing and deliveries," he said.
McAdam's said the contract was a major win for the Australian company which is expanding rapidly in New Zealand.
PrimeQ, said McAdams, had positioned itself as "the only business in New Zealand and Australia capable of delivering such a project."
"No other software provider can match the deep industry and product knowledge of our team," he said.
PrimeQ claims to be the only business in New Zealand and Australia to focus solely on Oracle cloud business solutions and services.
New Zealand Post spokesman Alan Court said PrimeQ was chosen because they are Oracle's certified implementation specialist for transport management systems in New Zealand.
Court said the contract was awarded first to Oracle and part of the relationship was agreeing to work with PrimeQ.
