Ralph Norris shedding NZ-based directorships

Air New Zealand chief executive Ralph Norris has resigned as a director of Fletcher Building as well as stepping down from the board of its finance arm, Fletcher Building Finance.

Norris, who has been a director of the building products company since it became a separately listed company in 2001, is leaving New Zealand to take up a role as chief executive of the Commonwealth Bank in Australia.

He is due to stand down from his role as the head of Air New Zealand on August 31.
