Plans for industrial park near airport site

A $150 million industrial park will be built near Auckland International Airport after Macquarie Goodman Property Trust yesterday signed a six-year licence to market and develop a 34ha greenfields site on Westney Rd.

The land is owned by Workstore Developments. Ground rent will be paid as portions of the site are developed.

Linfox Logistics has signed an eight-year lease to tenant a $27.8 million, 29,500sq m warehouse/distribution building, which Macquarie will soon develop.
