Bid in for VTL group's US franchise assets

Listed vending technology company VTL Group has received an offer for its US franchise assets from Bacon Whitney Corporation, an American company owned by Halpern Denny Fund III.

The fund is one of three equity investment funds linked to John Halpern and George Denny, with more than US$700 million under management.

VTL said the two investors held 9.95 per cent each in VTL and each had an agreement to buy additional shares, which would lift those shareholdings to 21.21 per cent.
