The $180 million Deloitte Centre on Auckland's Queen St has been topped off but the tower will not be finished for some months.
Paul Feltham, Brookfield Multiplex senior project manager, said construction reached the top level about a week ago.
Most of floors in the 24-level, 23,000sq m block at
80 Queen St have been clad in glass.
The block is being built as headquarters for Deloitte and BNZ. Brookfield, developing the tower and also destined to own it once finished, expects construction to finish in September.
The centre is on an island bordered by Queen Street, Shortland Street, Fort Street and Jean Batten Place.
BNZ has leased about half the tower, 70 car parks and a retail area fronting Queen Street.
The remaining half has been leased to Deloitte Services to occupy levels nine to 18, including 100 car parks and the basement changing rooms.
The third major tenant is True Alliance, taking four ground-floor shops. Goods with global brand names including Lacoste, Ben Sherman, Rockport and North Face will be sold from these shops, Brookfield says.
"The tower will provide 18 levels of office accommodation including six levels of podium accommodation with floor plates of up to 1754sq m and will be Auckland's first New Zealand Green Building Council 5-Star-rated-for-design office tower," Brookfield said.
Services which run the building will be in the upper levels and at level seven.
The ground level will sport a 12m-high foyer at the Queen St/Shortland St entrance and shops will occupy the rest.
