"The strong results Domino's has reported definitely reflects what we are seeing in New Zealand where we have experienced record-breaking results in terms of profitability and growth," Bush said.
The company had also been focusing on growth in the online and digital space, with Australia and New Zealand leading the way. Meij said in the next 2 years more than 80 per cent of orders were expected to come from online with three-quarters from mobile devices.
Domino's have opened 44 new stores across Australia and New Zealand in the last financial year, and Bush said the business was expecting to see continued strong growth, with plans to increase the number of stores on the ground.
"We have grand plans to open 10 more stores in the next 12 months - in fact we have opened two new stores in the last quarter alone - with a long-term aim of a total of 120 stores in New Zealand to meet demand," Bush said.
The group has markets in six countries including Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, the Netherlands, France and, most recently, Japan.
