Commodity export prices slip again

World prices for New Zealand's export commodities fell for the fifth month in a row in October and are now marginally lower than they were a year ago.

ANZ's commodity price index slipped 0.7 per cent to be 0.3 per cent down on October last year and 3.6 per cent off its peak last May.The fall was compounded by a higher dollar.
