1. NZX shareholders meet Shareholders in the NZX will gather for their annual meeting at 9.30am today at the Pakuranga Hunt Room at theEllerslie Event Centre, Ellerslie Racecourse, Level two, 80 Ascot Ave, Auckland. The company's first quarter results released last month showed total revenues across NZX's portfolio of businesses were up 9.6 per cent on the same period in 2015, mainly driven by solid growth in our funds services business, along with strong trading activity in the capital markets.
2. Retirement giant How is New Zealand's biggest listed retirement business doing? Today, the biggest NZX listed retirement stock, Ryman Healthcare, will release its annual result for the 2016 financial year. The business is now developing in Melbourne and expects to have as much on there soon as throughout the whole of New Zealand. Ryman is holding a briefing in Auckland to update analysts and the media on the result. The briefing is at Rydges Hotel, 59 Federal St and starts at 9am. Chairman David Kerr, managing director Simon Challies and deputy chief executive and chief financial officer Gordon MacLeod will speak. The event will also be televised via a webcast.
3. Awards The INFINZ awards will be announced today.
4. Immigration Official migration data is due out from Statistics NZ, revealing exact numbers today at 10.45am.
