1. Buildings Statistics NZ will release data at 10.45am on the number and value of building consents issued during April. This will show whattypes of buildings are getting consents, their value and where they are in New Zealand. Housing Minister Nick Smith often comments on this and says it illustrates that the Government moves to get more houses is working.
2. Foreigners The Overseas Investment office will today issue information from its fact sheets on foreigners who applied to get approval to buy assets including real estate in New Zealand.
3. Outlook The ANZ business outlook will be issued at 1pm today.
