New orders are expected next year for Blis Technologies' bad-breath product after promising initial overseas sales.
The first commercial shipment to the United States of the listed Dunedin biotechnology company's K12 Throat Guard mouthwash was received by its distributors there late in November.
The previous month, Blis made the first sales of its patented halitosis cure in Australia.
Chief executive Kelvin Moffatt said the first US batch had only been offered to existing customers of distributor TheraBreath, ahead of a wider market promotion early in the new year.
He said the company was planning a more substantial customer launch soon.
