A worldwide shortage of AirPods means many Apple fans will be stuck without earphones this Christmas.
Sold out across the United States, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK, Apple will not be delivering any of the wireless headsets until January, according to the Daily Mail.
The shortage has resulted in mass outrage from Apple fans online, with one Twitter user saying it "breaks my Christmas heart".
User @tombielecki tweeted: 'Airpods would be an awesome gift for just about anyone.
"If they weren't sold out."
@XOCarynGraham tweeted: "Airpods are sold out anywhere. That's annoying af."
User @alan123zero wrote: "Seeing the #Airpods sold out until January breaks my Christmas heart, my birthday is December 30th and I wish I knew I'd get my pair then!"
In the UK, AirPods aren't available until the 2nd January if ordered online.
Though it is rumoured that some suppliers have stock remaining, Apple fans will have to order quickly if they want them by January.
UK retailers including John Lewis, Argos and O2 are currently out of stock of Apple AirPods whereas in the US, Best Buy, Target and Walmart are all out of stock.
While some retailers do still have stock, numbers are low and are dwindling quickly.
It was reported elsewhere today that some UK branches of Currys PC World have stock, but it appears the retailer has already sold out since then.
At £159 the AirPods are some of the cheapest Apple products available, but their popularity has seen a spike in demand which manufacturers are currently unable to meet.
Last year, the newly released AirPods received widespread mocking when they were announced, but proved to be a popular hit.
By Christmas of 2016, the AirPods became unavailable due to demand and technical issues.
The AirPods won't be stocked in New Zealand stores until January.
