So kawaii! The JEM Internal Ball Camera, 'Int-Ball' for short, was created by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) and delivered to the International Space Station on June 4, 2017.
Is this the most adorable robot ever?
The first photos and video of JEM Internal Ball Camera ("Int-Ball") created by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency have crowned the drone the cutest robot sent to space.
The Int-Ball was delivered to the International Space Station on June 4 andscientists on the ground are using it to capture photos and video.
The information Int-Ball gathers can also be used by crew at the ISS.
Previously, ISS crew would have to take photos and video themselves, which would take time and energy.
Int-Ball, which was mainly made by 3D printing, can move around in the zero-G environment on its own.
Int-Ball contains actuators, rotational and acceleration sensors and electromagnetic brakes to help it orient in space, both inside and outside the ISS.
