Heavyweight boxer Curtis Harper lost his bout against Efe Ajagba of Nigeria in Minneapolis in unusual fashion, after he left the ring right after the opening bell before a punch could be thrown.

According to a PBC on-air reporter, Harper's exit was a protest over money.

Ajagba was pronounced the winner by way of disqualification just one second after the first round.

Harper's trainer Nate Cambell expressed his frustrations on social media, branding his fighter's walk out as "disrespectful".
