Weather: Hail hits Auckland

Heavy downpours with thunderstorms and hail are hitting Auckland this afternoon. WeatherWatch.co.nz forecasters said some slow moving isolated showers are now developing over the Auckland region, including the city itself. November 10 2021 There are 147 new community cases today and a man isolating at home with Covid-19 in Auckland has died suddenly, the Ministry of Health says. Of today's cases, 131 are in Auckland, 14 in Waikato and two are in Northland.

There are 13 new cases of Covid-19 in the community today - including a truck driver who left Auckland. The truck driver travelled to Hamilton, Cambridge and Tauranga but it's unclear if he was infectious during that time. There may be no locations of interest, Dr Ashley Bloomfield said.
