We only need one flag

Regarding whether the "tino rangitiranga flag" should be flown by council on Waitangi Day (The Aucklander, 11 June). A definite no.
We are celebrating nationhood as New Zealanders (people will say it is a day to remember the treaty but it is far bigger than that - not just Maori and Europeans),
We are one people coming from a diverse number of nations and cultures all making a living for our families in this awesome country.
To celebrate unity as a nation we need one flag only. Minority groups can fly their own flag when and where they want but not on public property owned by the people of New Zealand.
